Less than 72 hours and we start a new year!
The snow is nearly gone and we've had some high tides, winds and a bit of flooding. Now it is back to rain, rain and more rain. I really don't mind it. I love the sound & the freshness it brings to the air.
What does this have to do with hot cakes? Well kids you, am am sure you remember the creative hot cakes I used to make at home. Today I made Brian a "Mickey Mouse" and it was a riot! May add more to this post later....

Mother! That is quite an embarrassing picture of me you posted, not to mention the boy-short hair..! Shawn got a good laugh out of it though.
I think my favorite was when you would make our initials on the pancakes!!
