"Hot Cakes"

Less than 72 hours and we start a new year!
The snow is nearly gone and we've had some high tides, winds and a bit of flooding. Now it is back to rain, rain and more rain. I really don't mind it. I love the sound & the freshness it brings to the air.
What does this have to do with hot cakes? Well kids you, am am sure you remember the creative hot cakes I used to make at home. Today I made Brian a "Mickey Mouse" and it was a riot! May add more to this post later....

We're Free!

Well we finally got the car out of the driveway but it ran like crap! Every time we put it in gear and stepped on the gas it would die. The prognosis was water in the fuel tank. We bought some stuff and added it to the tank. A couple of brethern from the church stopped to rescue us. One took us to the store while the other stayed with the car while it was running. We got it home and let it run for a hour and I drove it around the block and it seemed to have it's ump back. I hope we can make it for church tomorrow.

My New Toy!

This is really awesome!
I printed a test picture and it came out so clear, as if I was standing right there. It is a scanner, copier, and printer all in one. It came with some really cool software and I am just getting started. I have lots of family pictures I want to scan in and organize. I will try and post some special ones now and then. Special thanks to Derek, Dora @ Adam.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Reindeer on the loose!

This one is on traffic control at the corner of our driveway...

We received another couple of inches of snow last night. A true "White Christmas" in Raymond, WA...that is amazing.

We had a wonderful Christmas eve. We invited a couple of neighbor ladies over and had an enjoyable dinner and conversation. Thanks to all of you who have sent cards and gifts. They all have help to make are snowbound existance more joyful.

Christmas Is Comming

MERRY CHRISTMAS......almost anyway

Here is a picture of our little tree.

We were able to escape with a friend to Aberdeen and leave our "snowbound jail". I only wished that I had taken my camera with me as the trees were Christmas card perfect. The rest of the town is moving around well,
but we can't even get out car out yet!

Snow Snow Snow!

It is Sunday evening and I a just figuring out how to use this "blog thing". I actually believe it will be really cool once I get it all figured out. We have been SNOW BOUND for a couple of days and unless it starts raining it will be a few more. We live on a dead end alley so there is no snow plows comming this way! What could be more delightful that being snowed in for christmas!
